2021 Reunion Registration is Open

Book the Dates: September 23-26, 2021, with departure date September 27. Note that this is a Thursday – Sunday time frame in contrast to the Sunday – Wednesday schedules of prior Reunions. We are doing so for lower hotel rates over the weekend compared to the start of the week.

Our next biennial Reunion is in Washington DC from September 23d thru 26th, 2021. The theme of the Reunion will be Riders on the Storm – Desert Storm, as 2021 is the thirtieth anniversary year of the Desert Storm campaign to reverse Iraq’s invasion of Kuwait.

CONTINGENCY PLANNING:

COVID: We are closely monitoring events to ensure a safe and successful Reunion. In the unfortunate circumstance that we cannot, we will make a timely decision to cancel. Registrations will then be refunded. The hotel will cancel Reunion bookings; your credit card does not get charged if the cancellation is more than 48 hours prior to your planned arrival.

REGISTRATION CHANGES: There are some changes from how we have done business in recent Reunions. We have a new (to us) Reunion contractor – Armed Forces Reunions Incorporated (AFRI). In recent reunions, the registration fee covered all evening meals; if you wanted to not attend all of them, you had to call the contractor and arrange a lesser fee. When you register this year, you will sign up for only the evening meals you want to attend. There is an additional registration fee to cover the other costs of the Reunion, primarily the Hospitality Suite/Ready Room that as always is open to all attendees and a place to practice the camaraderie that is an essential part of who we are.

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY FOR ARMED FORCES REUNIONS, INC.: For attendees canceling reunion activities prior to the cut-off date, Armed Forces Reunions, Inc. (AFR) shall process a full refund less the non-refundable AFR registration fee ($10 per person). Attendees canceling reunion activities after the cut-off date will be refunded to the fullest extent that AFR’s vendor commitments and guarantees will allow, less the non-refundable AFR registration fee.
