The Distinguished Flying Cross Society (DFCS) honors the extraordinary men and women who have earned the Distinguished Flying Cross through acts of heroism or exceptional achievement in aerial flight. Their courage, skill, and dedication represent the very best traditions of aviation service.

The DFCS mission is:   "To preserve military aviation heritage, advance education, and support those who serve and sacrifice—serving the nation by passing forward the lessons of courage, resilience, and sacrifice."

Our purpose is to preserve the legacy of these remarkable aviators, support the community of recipients and their families, and ensure that their stories continue to inspire future generations. Through remembrance, education, and service to our communnities, we are committed to keeping the history and values of the Distinguished Flying Cross alive.
