Voice for Valor is a multimedia platform dedicated to honoring and sharing the heroic stories of military veterans, first responders, and their families. Founded and hosted by Michael Komorous, the organization aims to inspire unity, respect, and community support through storytelling. With over 24 years of experience, Komorous has captured stories from diverse locations, including Afghanistan's mountains and Iraq's deserts, bringing tales of courage and resilience to the forefront.

This video is a first hand account by the pilots and aircrew of the Coast Guard's first high seas deployment of a rescue swimmer near Sitka, Alaska.  All five crewmembers subsequently received the Distinguished Flying Cross.
