  • Charles M Walling Chapter, Tucson, AZ

    The Tucson chapter was renamed “The Charles M. Walling Tucson Chapter of the DFC Society” in January 2016 in

    honor of Charles Walling, a native Tucson Arizonan who was shot down in Vietnam in 1966. Charles Walling was

    listed as Missing in Action until 1994 when a recovery team found his F-4 aircraft and his identification tags. In 2011,

    his remains were recovered and in 2012 he was laid to rest in Arlington Cemetery. The renaming ceremony was held

    at Davis-Monthan Air Force base with Charles two son in attendance. Charles left for Vietnam when his boys were

    very young.

    The Tucson Chapter has 25 Members and meets every other month on Thursday morning at the Tucson Sheraton

    Hotel. The next meeting will be 11 September at 1030.
