 DFCS Member

Qualifications for Membership


1. Must be a DFC recipient

2. Provide supporting documentation: General Orders, Citation, or DD-214 (Separation Papers) indicating award of DFC


 DFCS Active Military Member

Qualifications for Membership


1. Must be a DFC recipient and active duty, active Reserve, or active National Guard.

2. Initial membership has $0 dues for two years. Membership dues must then be kept current.

3. Provide supporting documentation: General Orders or Citation indicating award of DFC.


DFCS Associate Member

Qualifications for Membership


Associate Members are voting members of the DFCS. They may serve as Directors, Officers, and committee members, receive all communications with the membership, and attend all DFCS events.


1. Spouses, relatives and descendants of Regular Members and DFC recipients are eligible to be Associate Members.  Proof of te relationship is required if not enrolled by a DFCS Active Member

2.Other general public individuals who are U.S. citizens may join as Associate Members with approval of the DFCS Board of Directors.



 DFCS Lifetime Member

Qualifications for Membership


1. Must be a DFC recipient or eligible as an Associate Member.

2. Provide the required supporting documentation: General Orders, Citation, or DD-214 (Separation Papers) indicating award of DFC or eligibility as an Associate Member.


 Posthumous Member

Qualifications for Membership


1. Must have been a DFC recipient. May be enrolled in the Society by a family member or a DFCS Active Member. Proof of the DFC award is required.

2. A family member who enrolls a Posthumous member may then be enrolled as an Associate member with a complimentary one-year membership.


 Affiliate Member

Qualifications for Membership


Affiliate Members are individuals who agree to support the principles and objectives of the DFCS in a lesser role. Affiliate Members are non-voting members of the DFCS. They may receive DFCS Newsletters and attend all DFCS events.


1. Any member of the general public who is a U.S. citizen may become an affiliate member.

2. Provide proof of citizenship

3. DFCS reserves the right to independently verify any data you submit
