Citation:  1.) The President of the United States takes great pleasure in presenting the Distinguished Flying Cross to Captain Paul K. Robinson, Jr., for extraordinary achievement while participating in aerial flight as an F-100 Forward Air Controller operating over North Vietnam on 20 March 1968. On that date, Captain Robinson located and directed a fighter strike against one of the most lucrative vehicle convoys ever sighted in North Vietnam. He stopped the movement of numerous vehicles with strafing passes and thwarted the attempts by hostile forces to move the vehicles. He repeatedly descended to low altitude through intense hostile ground fire to find and mark lucrative groups of vehicles. His courageous tactics and professional direction of the strike flights dealt the hostile forces a severe blow in their resupply efforts. The professional competence, aerial skill, and devotion to duty displayed by Captain Robinson reflect great credit upon himself and the United States Air Force.

2.) The President of the United States takes great pleasure in presenting the Distinguished Flying Cross to Captain Paul K. Robinson, Jr., for heroism in connection with military operations against an opposing armed force over North Vietnam on 14 June 1968. On that date, Captain Robinson, while flying an F-100F Forward Air Controller mission, located and coordinated the destruction of a revetted surface-to-air missile in the midst of heavy hostile defenses. After leaving this destroyed target, he discovered a lucrative truck park and petroleum supply area while performing low altitude reconnaissance. In the face of intense ground fire, Captain Robinson directed the destruction of approximately three hundred, sixty-five barrels of petroleum and associated supplies and equipment. At the conclusion of this flight, he received a direct hit from an anti-aircraft artillery round and skillfully managed to recover his crippled fighter at a friendly base. His heroic actions in the face of the intense and accurate ground fire were responsible for the elimination of a significant portion of the hostile force's defensive capability and dealt a severe blow to his logistic flow. Outstanding heroism and selfless devotion to duty displayed by Captain Robinson reflect great credit upon himself and the United States Air Force.

3.) The President of the United States takes great pleasure in presenting the Distinguished Flying Cross to Major Paul K. Robinson for extraordinary achievement while participating in aerial flight as an F-4E Aircraft Commander over Southeast Asia on 5 April 1972. On that date, Major Robinson led a flight of three fighter-bombers against a heavily fortified hostile mortar and rocket battery engaged in shelling nearby allied military and civilian positions. Despite intense hostile ground fire and marginal weather conditions, Major Robinson successfully attacked the positions, eliminating the hostile threat and thereby saving the lives of countless friendly military and civilian personnel. The professional competence, aerial skill, and devotion to duty displayed by Major Robinson reflect great credit upon himself and the United States Air Force.

4.) The President of the United States takes great pleasure in presenting the Distinguished Flying Cross to Major Paul K. Robinson, Jr., for extraordinary achievement while participating in aerial flight as an F-4E Aircraft Commander over Southeast Asia on 24 April 1972. On that date, Major Robinson flew the lead position in a flight of four F-4 fighter-bombers which struck a steel factory deep inside hostile territory. Despite numerous surface-to-air missiles which were fired at the flight, as well as intense and highly accurate anti-aircraft artillery, Major Robinson aggressively attacked the target causing three large secondary explosions and heavily damaging three buildings. The professional competence, aerial skill, and devotion to duty displayed by Major Robinson reflect great credit upon himself and the United States Air Force.
