Citation: 1.) The authority contained in Army Regulation 600-45, 22 September 1943, and under the provisions of Army Air Forces, India-Burma Sector memorandum 75-2, 1 September 1944; The Fourth Oak Leaf Cluster to the Distinguished Flying Cross is hereby awarded to the following named enlisted men, (Sergeant Laurie L. Vienneau) Air Cargo Resupply Squadron, for extraordinary achievement while participating as flight traffic clerks in operational flights totaling more than eleven hundred hours in unarmed, heavily loaded transport airplanes, during which exposure to enemy fire was probable and expected. During the periods indicated (20 April 1944 to 30 January 1945) they have helped supply by air food, clothing, mail, medicinal supplies and material, to our forward elements and to those of our Indian, British and Chinese Allies. Undaunted by the hazards faced regularly and continuously, they performed their duties in such a manner that high credit is reflected upon themselves and the military forces of the United States.
