Citation:  1.) The president of the United States takes pleasure in presenting the DISTINGUISHED FLYING CROSS to CORPORAL RAYMOND A. PEISCHL UNITED STATES MARINE CORPS RESERVE for service as set forth in the following CITATION: For extraordinary achievement while participating in aerial flight with Marine Bombing Squadron 413 from 9 August to 5 September 1944. In the successful completion of these missions, Corporal Peischl contributed materially to the success of United States efforts. By his undaunted courage, superb airmanship, and unyielding devotion to duty in the face of hazardous flying conditions, Corporal Peischl reflected great credit upon himself and upheld the highest traditions of the Marine Corps and the United States Naval Service.
