The President of the United States takes great pleasure in presenting the Distinguished Flying Cross to Captain James S. Mosbey for heroism while participating in aerial flight as an F-4D Forward Air Controller over Southeast Asia on 24 July 1970. The President of the United States takes great pleasure in presenting the Distinguished Flying Cross (First Oak Leaf Cluster) to Captain James S. Mosbey for extraordinary achievement while participating in aerial flight as a F4D Forward Air Controller in Southeast Asia on 13 April 1971.
