Citation:  1.) The President of the United States of American has awarded the Distinguished flying Cross with “V” device to Chief Warrant Officer Two Daniel R. Jimenezleal, Sr. for heroism while participating in aerial flight from 26 October 2019 to October 2019 as an MH-60M Direct Action Penetrator Fully Mission Qualified Pilot for a Joint Task Force in support of Operation INHERENT RESOLVE. During this period, Chief Warrant Officer Two Jimenezleal’s actions directly resulted in the safe infil and exfil of the assault force as well as destruction of numerous enemy fighting positions and personnel, all while under enemy fire. His personal courage, tactical expertise, and professional competence were directly responsible for the overall success of the mission. Chief Warrant Officer Two Jimenezleal’s distinctive accomplishments are in keeping with the finest traditions of military service, and reflect great credit upon himself, the Joint Task Force, and the United States Army.
