Citation:  1,) The President of the United States of America has awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross to Captain Brandy LeighAnn Fields, United States Army, for heroism while participating in aerial flight on 15 May 2015 to 16 May 2015 as a MH-60M Basic Mission Qualified Pilot for a Joint Task Force in support of Overseas Contingency Operations. On this date, Captain Fields meticulously planned and flawlessly executed as a Basic Mission Qualified Pilot and displayed extraordinary valor against an enemy of the United States. She went above and beyond the call of duty to execute a classified, high-risk mission deep inside enemy territory under zero illumination and harsh environmental conditions. Captain Fields' distinctive accomplishments are in keeping with the finest traditions of military service and reflect great credit upon herself, the Joint Task Force, and the United States Army.
